A leak detection is not considered complete just because a leak was found. Kraken confirms the result with a documented 24-hour water-level test and returns free of charge when that test does not pass.

If the pool loses no more than ¼ inch during the 24-hour confirmation period, the water-level test passes and the job and warranty are considered completed.
How it works

Kraken's warranty centers on an objective result: the pool must pass a full 24-hour water-level confirmation after the diagnosed source is addressed or isolated.

Stop or isolate the source
When appropriate, a leak that can be stopped with epoxy is patched. A suspected broken plumbing line may instead be temporarily capped and isolated.

Run the 24-hour test
The waterline is marked and monitored for 24 hours under the agreed test conditions to confirm whether the pool is holding.

Pass or reinspect free
Loss of ¼ inch or less passes. Loss greater than ¼ inch means Kraken returns and reinspects at no additional charge.
Free reinspection commitment
If the water keeps dropping, Kraken comes back.
If the confirmation test shows more than ¼ inch of loss during a 24-hour period, the job remains open. Kraken will return and reinspect 100% free of charge until the pool produces a passing 24-hour water-level test.

Plumbing-line isolation
Broken lines can be capped for confirmation.
When testing points to a broken plumbing line, that affected line may be temporarily capped off for 24 hours. Isolating the line lets Kraken confirm whether the remaining pool system holds its water level without that line in operation.
Important distinction
Temporary line capping is a diagnostic isolation step, not a permanent underground plumbing repair. Once the isolated system passes the 24-hour test, the leak-detection warranty and diagnostic job are complete, and permanent repair can be handled separately.
